The chartered accountant, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Muhammad Thajil Al-Mamouri, Dean of the Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies at the University of Baghdad, participated in the second workshop to discuss the Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Law No. (39) of 2015 in the National Security Advisory of the Al-Nahrain Center for Strategic Studies.<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

The workshop was chaired by Dr. Muhammad Al-Akili, Assistant Director General of the Al-Nahrain Center, and in the presence of a large group of official figures and experts in various relevant institutions and organizations. In-depth discussions took place of all articles of the law, theoretically and practically.<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

In light of this, many recommendations were made for the purposes of amending the law. At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Muhammad Al-Ukaili expressed his thanks and gratitude to the Dean of the Institute and the experts for the efforts made to address the current issues that affect the needs of the citizen and society.<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n
