The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Baghdad organized a scientific workshop on the stages of completing the requirements for entering the (Veterinary Medical Journal) into the international publishing database, in the presence of the President of the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Bahaa Ibrahim Ensaf, the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah, and the Dean of the Post-graduate Institute for Accounting Studies. Finance and Chartered Accountant, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Muhammad Thajil Al-Mamouri and a number of deans, in the presence of the editorial director of the Institute\u2019s magazine, Lecturer Dr. Ghazi Maan Faisal and employee Basma Sabah Abdul Karim, as well as the presence of officials of the editorial unit in the scientific journals of the University of Baghdad.<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

The workshop aimed to introduce the scientific steps taken by the College of Veterinary Medicine in cooperation with the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance at the Presidency of the University of Baghdad to make (the Veterinary Medical Journal) part of the global publishing capacity of Scopus and other reputable scientific journals.<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

The President of the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Bahaa Ibrahim Ensaf, during his attendance at the scientific workshop, mentioned the importance of entering all University of Baghdad journals with scientific and humanities specializations into the global publishing database, to introduce the university\u2019s scientific institutions, introduce Iraqi scholars and professors, present their scientific activities, and develop the capabilities of the editorial boards in the mother university\u2019s journals.<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

The Director of the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance, Dr. Omar Faleh Hassan, stated during the workshop hosted by the College of Information that the aim of holding the workshop is to develop the reality of the work of the scientific journals affiliated with the colleges and centers of the University of Baghdad, which number (36) journals, and to enhance their activity and effectiveness in a way that ensures their access to the indexes Sober global.<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n
