The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, held a meeting with the University of Baghdad Council and urged to stimulate the scientific energies of lecturing staff and employ human potential in the path of teaching quality, developing scientific research and enhancing community service.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the meeting, he called for evaluating and reviewing the achieved goals, completed academic programs and study plans, and updating them in accordance with the strategic indicators related to improving and improving the educational process and its specialized services.<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

He reiterated the emphasis on taking into account the requirements of global competition in university classification, international publishing, and measuring the index of educational systems adopted in Iraqi universities based on development requirements related to the labor market and facing challenges.<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

He Confirmed the need to strengthen cultural awareness and enable universities and their staff to embody their responsibilities towards society, explaining at the same time that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is working to integrate with the relevant sectoral institutions to provide support to lecturers and employees regarding appropriate residential lands.<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

The Minister of Education listened to the proposals and recommendations of the President of the University of Baghdad and the deans regarding development procedures and initiatives aimed at caring for students and providing scientific, educational and advisory services to public and private sector institutions.<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n
