Two Lecturers from the PostInstitute of Accounting and Financial Studies at the University of Baghdad, Lecturer Dr. Ahmed Hassan Ahmed, rapporteur of the Accounting Studies Department, and assistant Lecturer Uday Obaid Zaidan, official of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Unit and member of the Strategic Planning Committee, participated in a workshop entitled (Strategic Planning) held by the Studies and Planning Department at the presidency of the University of Baghdad. In cooperation with the College of Science for Girls, in the presence of the Assistant President of the University of Baghdad for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah, the Dean of the College of Science for Girls, Professor Dr. Samira Naji, the Director of the Department of Studies and Planning, Professor Dr. Manal Shaker Ali, and a group of officials from the planning units and divisions in all formations of the University of Baghdad.<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

The workshop included an introduction to the strategy, the steps for its formulation, and strategic implementation tools, while models for formulating the strategy and how to link these tools to influencing the success of the functional service and providing the service for the public good were presented.<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

Exercises were also conducted on the models of the five-year plan of the University of Baghdad for the years 2025-2030, whether they were major, at the formation level, or at the job level, by Professor Dr. Salah al-Din al-Kubaisi from the College of Administration and Economics, and the importance of such workshops was emphasized to raise the level of scientific research, include curricula, and hold Conferences to achieve scientific leadership and establish successful educational goals.<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n
