The Department of Accounting Studies at the Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies at the University of Baghdad discussed the research titled(“The Application of the Extended Business Reporting Language (XBRL) and Its Impact on the Effectiveness of the Auditing Role of the Banking Supervision Department and Its Reflection on the Continuity of Private Banks (An Applied Study)) for the student Ahmed Abbas Ahmed to obtain chartered accountant certificate, which is the highest professional certificate in the field of specialization, and its holder enjoys all the rights and privileges of a doctorate degree.<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

The study aimed to to study the effect of applying the Extended Business Reporting Language (XBRL) on improving the effectiveness of the auditing role at the Banking Supervision Department at the Central Bank of Iraq, and its effect on the continuity of bank operations. The (XBRL)\u00a0 was applied in Bank (X) for Investment and Finance for the year 2021 through the preparation of an electronic application according to the specific programming settings of the language represented by (XML\/HTML\/CSS).<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

The study reached that the application of (XBRL)\u00a0 has a significant effect on the effectiveness of the auditing role of the Banking Supervision Department, enabling the acquisition of financial data more rapidly and accurately, which enhances the capability of banking supervision to make well-informed decisions based on accurate information.<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n
