Institute Media<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Under the patronage of the Dean of the Post-g Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies, Chartered Accountant, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Muhammad Thajil Al-Maamouri, the Institute’s consulting office held the second batch of training course entitled (The Unified Accounting System According to International Accounting and Financial Reporting Standards), which was lectured by a group of the Institute’s instructors for the period from 12\/1\/2025 to 13\/2\/2025.<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The participants learned about several main topics through the course, most notably the unified accounting system amended according to international accounting and financial reporting standards, in addition to topics such as investments and disclosure of shares in other companies, and the topic of mergers and business consolidation. The impact of changes in foreign exchange rates on the translation of financial statements, accounting policies, adjustments in accounting estimates and errors was also addressed.<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

At the end of the course, certificates of appreciation were presented to the participants by the Dean of the Post-graduate Institute of Accounting and Financial Studies and the Executive Director of the Iraqi Stock Exchange, Ms. Jamie Afham Hanna, expressing their readiness for academic and professional cooperation to achieve maximum benefit from the available competencies in all Iraqi institutions.<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n
