Institute Media<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Under the patronage of the Dean of the Post-graduate Institute of Accounting and Financial Studies, Chartered Accountant Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Muhammad Thajil Al-Maamouri, the Institute’s Consulting Office held a training course entitled “Higher Education Fund Accounts and the Consulting Office.” The course was part of a series of training sessions delivered by lecturer Dr. Dunya Jalil Jaafar, Head of the Higher Education Fund at the Institute, and Ms. Nagham Najm Abdullah, Head of the Financial Affairs Division at the Institute, from June 22-25, 2025.<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

\u00a0The course aimed to qualify the competencies and raise the professional level in accounting and knowledge regarding the auditing procedures for financial operations before and after disbursement with the aim of protecting the assets of the economic unit. However, this view quickly began to change as a result of a group of new factors that intertwined with each other to contribute to the development of the concept of internal auditing and work to change its image into a function to serve the institution as a whole instead of a function to serve the administration only. These activities are classified within the objectives of the environment and sustainability in achieving goal (8) in promoting comprehensive, sustainable and inclusive economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all.<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n
