Assistant Professor Dr. Mahmoud Ismail Muhammad, a lecturer in the Department of Accounting Studies, and Lecturer Mu’ayyad Hamid Majdi, Head of the Studies and Planning Unit at the Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies, participated in the “First Iraqi Forum for Architecture Departments,” held at the College of Engineering, Al-Sayyid Al-Hakim Hall, University of Baghdad. The forum saw broad participation from (27) public and private universities from various Iraqi governorates. The forum witnessed a significant presence of architecture professors and engineers working in the public and private sectors, along with representatives of the Engineers Syndicate and a number of relevant academic and professional institutions.<\/span><\/p>\n

The forum aims to unify academic and professional visions and exchange experiences between architecture departments at Iraqi universities, and to discuss the challenges of architectural reality and its future prospects, within an academic framework that seeks to develop the architectural education environment in Iraq.<\/span><\/p>\n

The organizers of the forum emphasized that this event represents an important step toward enhancing scientific and academic communication between architecture departments and opening new horizons for joint cooperation. This will contribute to preparing a generation of architects who possess the academic and professional awareness necessary to develop the national urban environment.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is within the framework of a scientific vision that seeks to advance the Iraqi architectural scene and unify academic and professional efforts in this field.<\/span><\/p>\n
