This visit was part of the Ministry&#8217;s efforts to monitor the implementation of institutional accreditation standards and assess compliance with them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]<div class=\"cz_gap clr  hide_on_tablet hide_on_mobile\" style=\"height: 5px\"><\/div><div class=\"cz_gap show_on_tablet clr  show_only_tablet\" style=\"height: 5px\"><\/div><div class=\"cz_gap show_on_mobile clr\" style=\"height: 5px\"><\/div>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">The visit was also part of the Ministry of Higher Education&#8217;s efforts to enhance the quality of academic and administrative performance in Iraqi universities and to verify the alignment of policies and procedures adopted at the University of Baghdad with national standards related to governance and management, human and material resources, academic programs, scientific research, student services, and community service.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]<div class=\"cz_gap clr  hide_on_tablet hide_on_mobile\" style=\"height: 5px\"><\/div><div class=\"cz_gap show_on_tablet clr  show_only_tablet\" style=\"height: 5px\"><\/div><div class=\"cz_gap show_on_mobile clr\" style=\"height: 5px\"><\/div>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">\u00a0The meeting with the Dean of the Institute included discussions on several important aspects, including matters related to scientific research and publication in international databases such as Scopus, and how to select reputable and indexed journals. The meeting also addressed the scientific activities organized by the Institute concerning scientific publishing and the professional development training courses offered to faculty and staff. Various inquiries were answered, and emphasis was placed on aspects that would enhance the quality of institutional performance, particularly regarding organizational, administrative, and scientific matters.
