In a distinguished academic atmosphere, chartered accountant Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Mohammed Thajil Al-Maamouri, Dean of the Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies, participated in chairing the committee that discussed the Master’s thesis entitled “The Role of Product Lifecycle Technologies and Reverse Engineering in Reducing Production Costs – An Applied Study” at the Middle Technical University\/Administrative Technical College – Baghdad, Department of Accounting Techniques. The thesis was presented by student Israa Salman Adai. The discussion committee consisted of Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Mohammed Thajil Al-Maamouri (President), Assistant Professor Dr. Khalil Ibrahim Ismail (Member), Lecturer Dr. Mohammed Ali Mohammed (Member), Assistant Professor Dr. Raed Majeed Abdul (Member and Supervisor), and Assistant Professor Dr. Khulood Abdul-Amir (Member and Supervisor).<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0The thesis aimed to analyze the concept and importance of Product Lifecycle Technology (PLT) and Reverse Engineering within the economic unit. The application of both PLT and Reverse Engineering represents an effective strategy for reducing costs and achieving a competitive advantage for the economic unit. Furthermore, they are modern management and engineering tools that contribute to product development and quality improvement.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Dean of the Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies, met with the Dean of the College of Administrative Technology, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Talib Abdul-Amir, to discuss potential cooperation between the Institute and the College. This study contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 4, which calls for quality education to ensure inclusive and equitable access to quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, as well as Goal 17, which focuses on partnerships for the goals.<\/span><\/p>\n
