Lecturer Dr. Ghazi Maan Faisal and Lecturer Dr. Saba Karim Aboud, faculty members at the Post-graduate Institute of Accounting and Financial Studies at the University of Baghdad, have published a chapter in an international book titled: “Analyzing the Impact of Adopting IFRS S1 and S2 Sustainability Standards on Strategic Managerial Accounting Practices.” The chapter is part of the book: “Moving Towards Sustainable Businesses and Developing More Resilient Economies,” published by CRC Press, a Taylor & Francis publishing house.<\/span><\/h3>\n

This chapter aims to analyze the impact of adopting the international sustainability standards IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 on strategic managerial accounting practices. It also highlights their role in enhancing transparency and financial sustainability, and supporting managerial decisions within economic units, thus contributing to business sustainability and the development of more resilient economies.<\/span><\/h3>\n

This scholarly achievement reflects the Post-graduate Institute of Accounting and Financial Studies faculty’s commitment to publishing rigorous research in international publishing houses and contributing to the development of accounting knowledge and financial sustainability in accordance with international standards.<\/span><\/h3>\n
