{"id":8868,"date":"2026-04-29T11:10:00","date_gmt":"2026-04-29T08:10:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.pgiafs.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=8868"},"modified":"2026-05-04T11:10:46","modified_gmt":"2026-05-04T08:10:46","slug":"the-continuing-education-unit-at-the-institute-holds-a-workshop-on-leave-regulations-for-state-and-public-sector-employees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.pgiafs.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=8868","title":{"rendered":"The Continuing Education Unit at the Institute Holds a Workshop on Leave Regulations for State and Public Sector Employees"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-size: 18px; font-family: Georgia, serif; color: #0000ff;\">Institute Media<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"font-size: 17px; font-family: Georgia, serif; color: #000000;\">Under the supervision of the Dean of the Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies, chartered accountant Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Mohammed Thajil Al-Maamouri, the Post-graduate Institute held a workshop entitled &#8220;Leave Regulations for State and Public Sector Employees According to Civil Service Law No. (24) of 1960.&#8221; The workshop took place in the Institute&#8217;s hall and was presented by Professor Dr. Mahmoud Khalil Khader Al-Maamouri, a faculty member in the Accounting Studies Department. A number of employees and faculty members from the Institute participated.<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"font-size: 17px; font-family: Georgia, serif; color: #000000;\">The workshop aimed to emphasize that employees&#8217; rights, including their leave entitlements, are acquired rights that cannot be waived under any circumstances. It also highlighted that employees are entitled to a range of leaves stipulated in various laws, subject to specific time limits, within which any employee may request them.
