{"id":8945,"date":"2026-04-27T11:36:30","date_gmt":"2026-04-27T08:36:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.pgiafs.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=8945"},"modified":"2026-05-18T11:37:56","modified_gmt":"2026-05-18T08:37:56","slug":"the-post-graduate-institute-for-accounting-and-financial-studies-discusses-auditing-the-performance-of-the-electricity-sector-according-to-intosai-standard","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.pgiafs.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=8945","title":{"rendered":"The Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies Discusses Auditing the Performance of the Electricity Sector According to INTOSAI Standard"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"font-size: 18px; font-family: Georgia, serif; color: #0000ff;\">Institute media<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"font-size: 17px; font-family: Georgia, serif; color: #000000;\">The Department of Accounting Studies at the Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies at the University of Baghdad discussed the research titled (Auditing the Performance of the Electricity Sector According to INTOSAI Standard (3000) and its Reflection on Sustainable Development Goal 7-Applied Research) for the student Basim Mutlak Saleh to obtain chartered accountant certificate, which is the highest professional certificate in the field of specialization, and its holder enjoys all the rights and privileges of a doctorate degree.<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"font-size: 17px; font-family: Georgia, serif; color: #000000;\">This study aimed to present a proposed performance audit program that links audit procedures to the indicators of Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG 7) (Affordable and Clean Energy), specifically for auditing the performance of the electricity sector in the Middle Euphrates region according to INTOSAI Standard 3000 (Performance Auditing), and to demonstrate its impact on achieving SDG 7.<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"font-size: 17px; font-family: Georgia, serif; color: #000000;\">The study concluded that there is no comprehensive performance audit program that meets the requirements of INTOSAI Standard 3000 (Performance Auditing), and that performance auditing is weakly implemented independently by regulatory bodies.
