The Department of Financial Studies the Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies at the University of Baghdad discussed the research titled (The Relationship Between Green Finance and Green Innovation in Achieving Environmental Sustainability \/An Applied Research) for the student Mohammed Ashraf Hussein to obtain a higher diploma equivalent to a master\u2019s degree in Banks and grants its holder All rights and privileges of a master’s degree.<\/span><\/h3>\n

The study aimed to analyze the correlation between Green Finance\u2014comprising retail banking, corporate and investment banking, asset management, and insurance\u2014and Green Innovation\u2014comprising green product innovation, green process innovation, organizational innovation, and green management\u2014and their impact on Environmental Sustainability, which is measured through resource consumption rationalization, human health impact reduction, pollution reduction, and renewable energy adoption<\/span><\/h3>\n

The study concluded 1. Formulating green credit policies by implementing the following:<\/span><\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. \n

    Launching environmental loans featuring reduced interest rates and flexible repayment terms for investment projects that adopt eco-friendly technologies or reduce carbon emissions.<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n
  2. \n

    Having the Agricultural Cooperative Bank offer a range of concessional micro-green loans\u2014with interest waived for the first two years and supported by the Central Bank of Iraq\u2014to assist farmers in adopting modern sprinkler and drip irrigation technologies and solar energy systems; and having the Industrial Bank support factories seeking to install emission filters or implement industrial waste recycling.<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    c. Requiring bank credit departments to conduct environmental impact assessments for industrial and development projects as a prerequisite for granting large-scale loans.<\/span><\/h3>\n
