The Citizens Affairs Unit at the Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies , represented by the unit’s head, lecturer Nour Ali Salman, participated in a workshop entitled (Work mechanism and tasks of the Citizens Affairs Unit), which was held by the Citizens Affairs Unit at the College of Fine Arts, in coordination with the Citizens Affairs Division at the University of Baghdad, and in the presence of the Dean of the College. Fine Arts, Dr.Mothad Ajeel Hassan, official of the Citizens Affairs Division, and officials of the units in the university’s formations.
The workshop included several axes, the most important of which were the legal axis and the citizen affairs axis, which emphasized learning about the tasks of the Citizens Affairs Division and methods of dealing with complaints submitted by citizens.
The workshop also stressed the importance of the Citizens Affairs Division and Units because of their major role in receiving proposals, inquiries and opinions of citizens in order to address these problems at the university. It also emphasized that the Division should not be used for personal targeting through malicious complaints and stay away from tribal disputes since the university is an academic center educational
