About the institute

The establishment of the institute

The Institute in Brief:
was established at the University of Baghdad in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research under Article (1) of the Institute’s law No. (33) For the year 1999.
The Institute aims to prepare specialists in (account control), (cost accounting and managerial accountant) and financial disciplines (banks, taxation and insurance) under Article (2) of the Institute’s.

Condition for belonging to the Institute

The applicant for affiliation with the institute is required to have the following academic and practical qualifications according to Article (7) of the institute’s law.
The student must have a preliminary university degree in accounting.
To have practiced the profession that his certificate qualifies him to practice for a period of not less than two calendar years.

Awarded Certificates

The Institute grants the following certificates according to Article (8) of the Institute’s founding law

• Certificate of Chartered Accountant – Certificate of cost and administrative accountant.
• Higher Diploma in the following specializations (Banks – Taxation – Insurance).
