The Department of Accounting Studies at the Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies at the University of Baghdad discussed the research titled (Designing a model for measuring the costs of airport services according to the economic policies of the ICAO and its impact on pricing policy- An applied research in the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority) for the student  Thana Nasser Nayef  to obtain Cost and managerial accountant certificate, which is the highest professional certificate in the field of specialization, and its holder enjoys all the rights and privileges of a doctorate degree.

The study aims to design a model for measuring the costs of airport services in accordance with the economic policies of ICAO Thus, through to present procedures, scientific steps on how to extract the costs of airport services, such as landing services, waiting, accommodation, staying up , lighting the runway, the use of air bridges, extracting the cost of arriving and departing passengers with what it providesthem of waiting halls , lounges , facilities of devices or equipment of carrying , moving , transporting , shipping ,

The study found to modernize a private company in the management of airports affiliated to the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority. And thus that company executing services and the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority will have the legislative authority and that would reduce the burden of the general budget of the Iraqi state. Consequently, the company implements an accounting system is related to the cost accounting system. It results in reports that would affect special decisions on pricing policies and thus maximize resources and improve the use of costs. As well as it would evaluate the performance of services and work on improving them to keep pace with the services are provided by the same sector globally.
