The Department of Financial Studies the Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies at the University of Baghdad discussed the research titled (Skills of the Tax Assessor and their impact on the quality of Tax Accountability) for the student Afrah Abdul Hameed Idan to obtain a higher diploma equivalent to a master’s degree in taxes and grants its holder All rights and privileges of a master’s degree.
The study aimed to identify the skills of the tax assessor and measure the impact between the independent variable of the tax assessor’s skills with its dimensions (scientific and qualification skills, technical and functional skills, personal skills, professional competence or professional skills, skills in dealing with others and communicating with them) and the dependent variable of the quality of tax accountability, and the degree of ranking those dimensions according to their importance and priority
The study concluded that a strategic plan and program was developed by the General Tax Authority to develop the skills of the tax assessor and enhance the role of the tax assessor.
