Lecturer Dr. Ghazi Maan Faisal and Lecturer Dr. Saba Karim Abboud from the Post-graduate Institute of Accounting and Financial Studies at the University of Baghdad participated in the 13th International Conference on Opportunities and Challenges in Management, Economics, and Accounting (OMEACONF 2025), which was held in Dublin, Ireland, from July 25 to 27, 2025.
Participation took place virtually via Zoom on the third day of the conference, presenting the research titled:
“Sustainable Development Goals under the Role of Smart Modeling and Predictive Analysis in Measuring the Hybrid Product Cost.”
The research aimed to enhance the theoretical framework with practical applications and understand the use of smart modeling and predictive analysis in measuring product costs. Hybridization, improving companies’ competitive position in the business environment, and promoting the achievement of sustainable development goals through hybrid product manufacturing processes, which contributes to reducing costs and improving productivity, thus supporting the sustainability of these products.
The research received significant attention from attendees due to its modern proposals that keep pace with global trends toward adopting smart solutions and advanced technologies to support economic decisions and achieve efficient resource management.
The OMEACONF conference is one of the most prominent international platforms that brings together researchers and academics from around the world to discuss the latest developments and challenges in the fields of management, economics, and accounting. It also provides valuable opportunities for scientific publication in journals indexed in global databases such as SCOPUS and Web of Science.
This participation is part of the Higher Institute of Accounting and Financial Studies’ efforts to support scientific research and open up to international conferences, contributing to the development of research capabilities in the fields of accounting and finance.
