The Department of Financial Studies the Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies at the University of Baghdad discussed the research titled (Reform of tax policies and their impact on attracting foreign investment – applied research ) for the student Rania Arkan Hassan to obtain a higher diploma equivalent to a master’s degree in taxes and grants its holder All rights and privileges of a master’s degree.
The study aimed to examine the importance of tax policies in attracting foreign investment to Iraq, by presenting practical measures and steps that help develop the General Tax Authority. It also highlighted the impact of tax policy reform on attracting foreign investment, highlighting the vital role of tax policy reform in attracting foreign investment and effectively directing, regulating, and planning investments, which will result in numerous benefits for the state, such as the introduction of modern technology and the expansion of job opportunities.
The study adopted a descriptive and analytical approach to enrich the theoretical and practical aspects, as it is a highly flexible approach, as well as comprehensive in its combination of multiple research methods, such as direct observation, personal interviews, and data collection.
