Assistant Professor Dr. Mahmoud Ismail Mohammed, a faculty member in the Accounting Studies Department, participated in a training course as part of a series of periodic lectures he delivers at the General Directorate of Traffic. The course, titled “Social Factors and Their Impact on Traffic Accidents,” was attended by traffic officers of various ranks.

The lecture aimed to explain and clarify the conceptual framework of urban transport management in understanding traffic conditions resulting from social factors that lead drivers to commit traffic violations, ultimately resulting in collisions, pedestrian accidents, or other incidents.

These activities fall under the environmental and sustainability goals of achieving Goal (11), which aims to ensure that cities and human settlements are inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable.
