In the context of strengthening scientific cooperation and exchanging academic output, the Dean of the Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies at the University of Baghdad, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Mohammed Thajil Al-Maamouri, a certified public accountant, Welcomed Professor Dr. Sadiq Rashid Hussein Al-Shammari, who presented a collection of his scholarly works as a gift to the Institute’s deanship. This contribution supports the academic library and enriches the body of knowledge in financial and banking disciplines.
The Dean praised this scholarly initiative, emphasizing that the donation of these works reflects the researchers’ and academics’ commitment to disseminating knowledge and exchanging expertise. He added that it contributes to strengthening the academic environment and supporting the advancement of scientific research, as well as solidifying cooperation between academic institutions and the banking sector.
For his part, Professor Dr. Sadiq Al-Shammari explained that his donation of his works stems from his belief in the importance of supporting academic institutions with sound scholarly output and enhancing integration between the academic and professional spheres. This, he noted, contributes to preparing specialized personnel capable of keeping pace with developments in the financial and banking sectors. This donation comes as part of the Post-garduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies’ commitment to strengthening scientific cooperation with various institutions, in order to serve the goals of higher education and scientific research and contribute to improving the academic and professional reality.
