Under the supervision of the Dean of the Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Mohammed Thajil Al-Maamouri, a certified public accountant, the Institute held a workshop entitled “State and Public Sector Employees’ Discipline Law No. (14) of 1991 and its Role in Reducing Administrative Corruption.” The workshop took place in the Institute’s hall and was presented by Lecturer Inas Jumaa Radhi, Head of the Legal Department at the Institute. A number of staff and faculty members from the Institute participated.
The workshop aimed to explain the provisions of the State Employees’ Discipline Law No. (14) of 1991 and to promote employee commitment to job duties and sound professional conduct. It also sought to highlight the role of administration in implementing the law as an effective tool for reducing administrative corruption and establishing the principles of integrity and transparency.
These activities fall under the Environment and Sustainability Goals, specifically Goal (11), which aims to ensure that cities and human settlements are inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable.
