The Department of Financial Studies the Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies at the University of Baghdad discussed the research titled (The Role of Strategic Clusters in Enhancing the Effectiveness of Banking Operations -An Applied research) for the student Samah Nezar Ibrahim to obtain a higher diploma equivalent to a master’s degree in Banks and grants its holder All rights and privileges of a master’s degree.

This study aimed to demonstrate the correlation and influence of the independent variable, strategic clusters (with its dimensions of cooperation, competition, organizational procedures, specialized knowledge, logistical support, and mobilization of government support), on the dependent variable, the effectiveness of banking operations (with its dimensions of creative processes, operational processes, and social interaction processes.

The study concluded that there is a significant correlation and influence of strategic clusters in enhancing the effectiveness of banking operations in the banks studied. The dimensions of strategic clusters were able to explain approximately 80% of the changes in the enhancement of banking operations effectiveness. Furthermore, the horizontal and vertical analysis of the data showed that the National Bank of Iraq achieved the highest rating for banking activities among the banks studied, while Sumer Commercial Bank ranked last. Additionally, a cluster was formed comprising banks that achieved high levels in their respective variable dimensions and exhibited similar levels of financial indicators.
