The Department of Financial Studies the Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies at the University of Baghdad discussed the research titled (The role of Cyber Resilience in Enhancing Digital Banking Transformation-Applied research) for the student Mohammad Khalil Zourab to obtain a higher diploma equivalent to a master’s degree in Banks and grants its holder All rights and privileges of a master’s degree.
This study aimed to demonstrate the role of cyber resilience in promoting digital banking transformation by analyzing the level of implementation of its dimensions (governance, identification, protection, detection, response, awareness, and testing) and measuring their impact on the dimensions of digital banking transformation (digital business, digital infrastructure, digital customer experience, and digital banking innovation) in private banks in Baghdad.
The study concluded that the level of implementation of cyber resilience and digital banking transformation was good, with a strong positive correlation and a significant impact of cyber resilience on promoting digital banking transformation. The dimensions of protection and response were found to be the most influential, while no significant differences were found between the banks studied, reflecting the similarity in their practices in these two areas.
