The Department of Financial Studies the Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies at the University of Baghdad discussed the research titled (The Role of Strategic Thinking in Banking Expansion and DUTREACH- An Applied Study) for the student Omer sadoon jasim to obtain a higher diploma equivalent to a master’s degree in Banks and grants its holder All rights and privileges of a master’s degree.
This study aimed to examine and measure the correlation and influence of the independent variable, strategic thinking (with its dimensions of future vision, analysis, strategic flexibility, and strategic creativity and innovation), and the dependent variable, banking expansion (with its dimensions of access, usage, and quality of financial services). It also sought to determine the priority of these dimensions according to the sample group.
The study concluded that it is essential to enhance strategic thinking practices in banks by adopting clear future visions, developing analytical capabilities, increasing strategic flexibility, and fostering an environment of innovation, as these factors play a crucial role in achieving banking expansion.
