The Department of Financial Studies the Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies at the University of Baghdad discussed the research titled (The role of financial inclusion in achieving sustainable banking development- Applied research ) for the student Muntadhar Ali Abdul Amir to obtain a higher diploma equivalent to a master’s degree in Banks and grants its holder All rights and privileges of a master’s degree.
This study aimed to diagnose and measure the correlation and impact of the independent variable, financial inclusion, on the dependent variable, sustainable banking development. The implementation of financial inclusion leads to the integration of a larger segment of society into the banking system, enabling banks to achieve sustainable banking development by providing loans.
The study concluded that financial inclusion has a positive and significant impact on achieving sustainable banking development, with an interpretation coefficient (R²) of approximately 58.8%, indicating a strong relationship between the two variables. The study also revealed that the access dimension had the greatest impact compared to the use and quality dimensions, while the environmental dimension showed a clear weakness.
