Under the supervision of the Dean of the Post-graduate Institute of Accounting and Financial Studies, Chartered Accountant, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Muhammad Thajil Al-Maamouri, the Accounting Studies Department at the Institute held a workshop entitled (Professional Writing for Accountants: Reports, Emails, and Proposals) in the Institute Hall. The workshop was lectured by Assistant Professor Dr. Dhafaf Ibrahim Ali, a lecturer in the Accounting Studies Department at the Institute, and students from the Accounting Studies Department at the Institute participated in the workshop.

The workshop aimed to enable participants to write emails, reports, and professional proposals clearly and professionally, with a focus on the requirements of the financial and accounting field, and to introduce participants to the principles of professional writing in the business and accounting environment, and to develop skills in writing formal emails and using the appropriate email structure (subject, greeting, content, signature), and avoiding common mistakes such as informal wording and unclear messages, and learning how to write a convincing and effective email for a formal request or inquiry. The workshop concluded that practical training and real-world applications helped participants develop their abilities in analyzing and improving texts, and preparing official documents that meet quality standards in the financial and accounting field. At the end of the workshop, participants stressed the importance of applying the acquired skills in the work environment, praising the role played by the Institute in enhancing professional competence through its specialized training programs.
