The Dean of the Post-graduate Institute of Accounting and Financial Studies, Chartered Accountant, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Muhammad Thajil Al-Maamouri, visited the President of the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Baha Ibrahim Insaf, and the Dean of the Institute presented the shield of the Iraqi Ports Company on behalf of the Director General of the Company, Dr. Farhan Al-Fartousi, in appreciation of the efforts of the University of Baghdad and the Post-graduate Institute in providing the company with specialized courses in the unified accounting system amended according to the international accounting and financial reporting standards.
During the meeting, the Institute’s directions in future courses for various state institutions were discussed.
At the end of the meeting, the President of the University expressed his thanks, appreciation and gratitude to the management of the Post-graduate Institute of Accounting and Financial Studies, stressing the continuous endeavor to combine the academic and professional aspects, wishing them continued success and providing more giving in the service of our beloved country.
