Two faculty members at the Post-graduate Institute of Accounting and Financial Studies at the University of Baghdad, lecturer Dr. Ghazi Maan Faisal and lecturer Dr. Saba Karim Abboud, published their scientific research in the proceedings of the Second University of Bahrain International Conference (UCB’2025), held under the theme “Sustainable Business Futures: Innovating for a Greener Tomorrow” in Bahrain from April 23–24, 2025.
The research was published by the international publishing house Springer as part of a scientific series indexed in Scopus. It presented a scientific study aimed at strengthening the theoretical framework with practical application to understand the role of integration between target costing technology using artificial intelligence tools and partnership contracts in achieving the seventeenth goal of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 17) related to strengthening partnerships for development.
The results of the research showed that this integration contributes to improving companies’ marketing performance by enhancing their competitive position in the business environment, in addition to supporting economic and environmental sustainability. This scientific achievement reflects the active role of our institute’s faculty in supporting the academic and practical fields with research that seeks to contribute to serving the community through publication and participation in various international research forums.
