Institute Media
The Dean of the Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Mohammed Thajil Al-Maamouri, received a delegation from the Department of Media and Government Communication at the University of Baghdad. The delegation, headed by lecturer Dr. Harith Mohammed Ibrahim, Director of the Department, and including lecturer Dr. Shahd Haider Aboud and Assistant Lecturer Saif Wahab Mazhar, was attendance by lecturer Dr. Ghazi Maan Faisal, Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Accounting and Financial Studies. The visit aimed to strengthen media cooperation and learn about the mechanisms for documenting activities and events within the Institute’s Media and Government Communication Unit.
During the visit, discussions were held on developing media performance and enhancing coordination between the University’s media department and the Institute’s media department. This coordination aims to ensure a unified media message and to highlight scientific, cultural, and student activities in a professional manner that reflects a positive image of the university.
The visit included reviewing a number of activities and events held at the institute, with an emphasis on the importance of documenting and publishing them through official platforms, in addition to exchanging views and proposals aimed at improving media content in terms of formulation, coverage and digital interaction, and ways to develop media work and enhance institutional coordination, in a way that contributes to improving the quality of media content and consolidating transparency and effective communication, in line with the goals of sustainable development and building effective university institutions.
