The Department of Accounting Studies at the Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies at the University of Baghdad discussed the research titled(Pareto analysis as a strategic tool for achieving optimal use of available resources and reducing costs in industrial units-Applied Research ) for the student Raad Hadi abd alameer to obtain Costs and Administrative accounting certificate, which is the highest professional certificate in the field of specialization, and its holder enjoys all the rights and privileges of a doctorate degree.
This study aimed to focus on the resources with the greatest impact on increasing production costs by identifying critical resources using Pareto analysis as a strategic analytical tool based on their relative importance. This supports management in directing improvement efforts toward the resources with the greatest cost impact, as well as demonstrating the effect of its use in supporting resource management efficiency and enhancing operational performance.
The study concluded that it is essential to focus on applying modern analytical tools, such as Pareto analysis, to identify the resources with the greatest impact on the cost structure. This enables management to concentrate improvement efforts on the most critical sources of waste.
