The Dean of the Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies at the University of Baghdad, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Mohammed Thajil Al-Maamouri, Welcomed the Head of the Federal Board of Supreme Audit, Dr. Ammar Subhi Khalaf, in the presence of several faculty members, staff, and postgraduate students.
This visit aimed to strengthen cooperation between the Institute and the Federal Board of Supreme Audit, opening new avenues for academic partnership and professional development, ultimately benefiting the university and the academic community.
During the visit, they discussed a range of important topics aimed at leveraging practical application to support scientific and research endeavors. Dr. Ammar Subhi Khalaf, a certified public accountant, emphasized the importance of cooperation between the Audit Bureau and the Institute in enhancing the quality of higher education. He noted that this type of collaboration would contribute to raising the level of scientific research and providing outstanding educational opportunities for postgraduate students. For his part, Dr. Ali Al-Maamouri, Dean of the Institute and a certified public accountant, welcomed this initiative, expressing the Institute’s readiness to provide full support to strengthen joint cooperation and exchange expertise for the benefit of the university as a whole.
These activities fall under the environmental and sustainability goals of achieving Goal 17, which focuses on strengthening global partnerships to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
