Under the supervision of the Dean of the Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Mohammed Thajil Al-Maamouri, the Department of Accounting Studies at the Institute held a scientific seminar entitled “Statistical Software Used in Analyzing Accounting Research Data.” The seminar took place in the Institute’s auditorium and was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Mahmoud Ismail Mohammed, a faculty member in the Department of Accounting Studies. A number of faculty members and postgraduate students from the Institute participated in the seminar.
The seminar highlighted how researchers in accounting can utilize computerized statistical software to extract numerical indicators relevant to the analytical process of accounting research. This software assists in making objective decisions and planning decisions for developing short-term and long-term strategies.
These activities fall under the environmental and sustainability goals of achieving Goal (4), which aims to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
