Under the supervision of the Dean of the Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies, Chartered Accountant, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Muhammad Thajil Al-Mamouri, the Educational Guidance Committee, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Committee at the Institute, held a workshop entitled (Organized Crime and its Danger to the Country’s Security and Stability) in the Institute’s hall. The workshop was moderated by Assistant Professor Dr. Kholoud Hadi. Aboud lecturing in the Financial Studies Department at the Institute. Colonel Wissam Abdul Karim Abdul Jalil Al Wazzan from the Ministry of Interior/Federal Intelligence and Investigations Agency lectured at the workshop. A number of lecturers and graduate students at the Institute participated in the workshop.
The workshop introduced educational institutions to the seriousness of organized crime, who are responsible for this crime, what are the tools, individuals, fraud methods and methods used, how to deal with this crime and the importance of awareness methods by highlighting this type of crime in various media.
