The Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies, represented by the Dean of the Institute, the Chartered Accountant, Assistant Professor, Dr. Ali Muhammad Thajil Al-Mamouri, the Assistant Dean, Assistant Professor, Dr. Wafa Hussein Salman, and some of the Institute’s teaching staff, participated in the graduation ceremony of the students of the University of Baghdad, the 66th session of the academic year 2022/2023, which was titled (Al-Aqsa Flood). In honor of the great sacrifices made by the Palestinian people, and in the presence of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, the Governor of Baghdad, Engineer Muhammad Jaber Al-Atta, and members of the Parliamentary Education Committee, represented by Dr. Yassin Al-Ithawi, and Dr. Adel Al-Rikabi, as well as the presence of security leaders and a number of university presidents.
The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research said in his speech that the graduation of this group holds everyone additional responsibility related to preserving the academic reputation of this ancient institution in which scholars, teachers, researchers and students have put in decades of work, commitment and creativity. The speech of the President of the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Munir Hamed Al-Saadi, in which he reviewed Indicators of scientific achievement of the University of Baghdad and its colleges in the field of scientific publishing, international classifications, and the entry of a number of Baghdad journals into the Scopus global database.
