Under the supervision of the Dean of the Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies, Chartered Accountant, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Muhammad Thajil Al-Mamouri

The Institute held its scientific symposium entitled (International Publishing in Sober International Journals) in the Institute’s hall through the Google Meet program, moderated by the lecturer, Dr. Ghazi Maan Faisal, managing editor of the Journal of Accounting and Financial Studies at the Institute, and delivered by Professor Dr. Khaled Hosseini, University of Portsmouth – Britain, in the presence of a large group of the Institute’s professors and students.

Among its objectives, which are consistent with the fourth goal of the sustainable development goals (quality education), the symposium highlighted the importance of achieving international publishing in sober international journals to achieve the required scientific results and raise the scientific and research level of lecturers, researchers, and those interested in the field of scientific research.

The symposium reached the possibility of achieving international publication in sober international journals through preparing a good research paper that begins with choosing the appropriate title that reflects the problem and objective of the research, drafting the abstract according to the requirements of sober international journals, and ending with presenting the most important results and recommendations, as well as examining previous studies, references, and sources that have been published in These journals and benefiting from them when citing in the body of the research. The symposium also addressed, through the participation of the attending professor, the problem of publishing through intermediaries and unlicensed libraries, which has led to many cases of scientific fraud, and how to solidify the educational and research process.
