The Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies at the University of Baghdad was established under the chairmanship of the chartered accountant, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Muhammad Thajil Al-Mamouri, and under the supervision of the Assistant Dean of the Institute, Assistant Professor Dr. Wafaa Hussein Salman Al-Haidari, with the participation of Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Jawad Al-Dahli / Representative of the Ministry of Finance / Director General of the Financial and Accounting Training Center, Ministry of Finance In the presence of the ministerial team to follow up the afforestation campaign
With the participation of a group of professors and employees of the Institute, along with the students of the Department of Accounting Studies and the Department of Financial Studies, a planting campaign was held to plant plants and flowers in the Institute’s garden.
The Dean of the Institute stated that this campaign and student activity aims to demonstrate the environmental importance of planting plants in general, and evergreen shrubs and roses in particular, in improving and softening the surrounding atmosphere and reducing its pollution, as well as encouraging students to cultivate the spirit of initiative and provide them with the skills of planting trees and working within a single team.
