The woman is the mother who prepared a generation with good morals, great sacrifices, heroism and aspirations, and she is the one who brings together life in beginnings and endings.
The head of the Educational Guidance Unit at the Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies at the University of Baghdad, Assistant Professor Dr. Kholoud Hadi Abboud, held a celebration on the occasion of Women’s Day, under the supervision of the Dean of the Chartered Accountant Institute, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Muhammad Thajil Al-Mamouri. The celebration was attended by the heads of the Departments of Accounting Studies and Financial Studies, faculty members, and the institute’s employees and students.
On this occasion, the Dean of the Institute gave a speech in which he pointed to the status of women in the country, the importance of their role, and the necessity of empowering them to build society and ensure progress.
The Assistant Dean, Assistant Professor, Dr. Wafaa Hussein Salman, also spoke about women and their important and supportive role when they stand with men in good times and bad and participate with him in building, and she blessed everyone on this occasion.
The department heads and lecturers also spoke on this happy occasion and praised the role of women, especially Iraqi women, for the sacrifices they have made in all aspects of life. At the end of the ceremony, roses were distributed to the institute’s female teachers and employees.
