The Dean of the Post-graduate Institute of Accounting and Financial Studies at the University of Baghdad, the Chartered Accountant, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Muhammad Thajil Al-Maamouri, received in his office the Chartered Accountant, Professor Dr. Muwaffaq Abdul Hussein, in the presence of Professor Dr. Bidaa Sattar Lafta, head of the Department of Financial Studies, and Professor Dr. Amer Muhammad Salman Head of the Department of Accounting Studies, and the lecturer, Dr. Ghazi Maan Faisal, Editorial Director of the Journal. Accounting and financial studies and Assistant Professor Iman Hussein Dawoud lecturing in the Financial Studies Department at the Institute.
The Dean of the Institute, in his name and on behalf of the Institute’s staff and students, extended his thanks and high gratitude to Professor Dr. Muwaffaq Abdel Hussein, honoring him with the Institute’s shield (You are our pride) for all the valuable efforts he made to serve the Higher Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies and in various administrative positions before he was referred for retirement. The honoring ceremony was attended by a large crowd. Among the institute’s professors, staff, and students in the accounting studies and financial studies departments.
