The AKAD Center for Economic and Financial Studies, in cooperation with the Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies, held a workshop entitled (Preparing the State’s General Budget between the Directions of the Government Program and the Aspirations of Current and Future Generations), which was held in the hall of the Tamkeen Center for Educational Services. The Dean of the Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies, Chartered Accountant, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Muhammad Thajil Al-Maamouri, lectured in it, and a number of lecturers, employees, and graduate students participated in the workshop.
These workshops demonstrated how the directions of the government program are in line with the needs and aspirations of current and future generations to ensure the improvement of public services and how to manage financial resources in a way that ensures long-term sustainability and the importance of involving current and future generations in the decision-making process to ensure that the budget reflects their needs and aspirations.
The workshop highlighted the importance of developing an efficient and effective budget that works to achieve a balance between meeting the needs of current generations as well as ensuring the achievement of the aspirations of future generations.
