The Department of Financial Studies the Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies at the University of Baghdad discussed the research titled (The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Achieving the Strategic Status of Banks-Applied research ) for the student  Ahmed Hussin Raheef  to obtain a higher diploma equivalent to a master’s degree in taxes and grants its holder All rights and privileges of a master’s degree.

The study aimed to examine and measure the correlation and impact of the independent variable, artificial intelligence (AI), with its dimensions (expert systems, smart customer fingerprint, chatbots, smart branches, fraud prevention, and credit risk management), on the dependent variable, strategic position, represented by (shaping expectations, building social networks, and learning processes). It also aimed to identify the degree of prioritization of these dimensions from the sample’s perspective.

The study concluded that AI has a significant correlation and impact on achieving the strategic position of banks. AI dimensions were able to explain 69.3% of the changes in achieving strategic position. It also revealed no significant differences in the sample’s response level regarding the two research variables based on demographic variables (age and number of years of service).
