In line with the Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies at the University of Baghdad’s commitment to supporting rigorous scientific research and keeping pace with global developments in accounting and finance, lecturer Dr. Ghazi Maan Faisal, Editor-in-Chief of the Institute’s Journal of Accounting and Financial Studies, in collaboration with a faculty member from the College of Administration and Economics at the Iraqi University, published a research paper in the proceedings of the ICBT Edinburgh 2025 International Business and Technology Conference, held at the University of Edinburgh, UK. The paper, titled “The Iraqi Judicial System in Light of the Activation of the Role of the Forensic Accountant: Proposed Strategies and Methods”.

Was published in the conference proceedings by Springer and indexed in the Scopus database. The research addresses the Iraqi judicial system in light of the activation of the role of the forensic accountant, proposing practical strategies and methods to improve its performance in accordance with international standards, with a focus on enhancing transparency and credibility in judicial investigation procedures.
