The Department of Accounting Studies at the Institute held its scientific symposium entitled (Quality education as one of the goals of sustainable development and its role in promoting practical training) in the institute’s hall. The assistant professor, Dr. Wafa Hussein Al-Haidari, assistant dean, and the assistant professor, Dr. Hakim Falih Hamoud, teaching in the College of Administration and Economics at our university, lectured in the symposium. A number of teachers and graduate students at the institute participated in the symposium.
As part of its objectives, which are consistent with the fourth goal of the Sustainable Development Goals, the symposium highlighted the importance of scientific research for teaching and graduate students in universities and how to publish it in international sources.
The symposium reached several recommendations, the most important of which is holding periodic workshops and seminars for teachers and graduate students at the university on every detail of scientific research, starting from the title of the research and reaching the methods used in preparing scientific sources, which will be reflected in the visit to publishing scientific research in reputable journals and ensuring their indexing.
