The University of Baghdad hosted the first conference for technological and scientific incubators, under the patronage and in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and a number of members of the Parliamentary Education Committee, and in the presence of the Dean of the Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies, the Chartered Accountant, Assistant Professor, Dr. Ali Muhammad Thajil Al-Mamouri, as well as the presence of university presidents and college deans. And Iraqi institutes.
The conference aimed to reduce the gap between the outputs of the Ministry of Higher Education and the requirements of the labor market and establish joint-stock companies that enhance the investment of scientific and research knowledge in developing the local economy and empowering young energies.
The conference also included a speech by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in which he congratulated that higher education in Iraq ranked first in the Arab world and seventh in the world in the Times Sustainable Development Classification, indicating that the Ministry took it upon itself to find effective solutions to reduce unemployment among graduates by sponsoring and supporting entrepreneurs. Young people during and after university life, as incubators work to build an integrated entrepreneurship community by transforming ideas into productive projects that operate in an economy based on scientific and technological knowledge.
This conference comes within the efforts of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to build a generation of young entrepreneurs capable of steering the wheel of the economy towards a better future.
