Based on the directives of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and under the patronage of the President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Bahaa Ibrahim Insaf.
The Dean of the Post-graduate Institute of Accounting and Financial Studies, Chartered Accountant, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Muhammad Thajil Al-Maamouri, inspected the nursing home in the presence of Assistant Professor Dr. Hanan Abdullah Hassan and Lecturer Dr. Lawahez Khalil Ibrahim, stressing his readiness to meet all their needs.
The Dean of the Institute was briefed on the living and health conditions of the elderly in a step aimed at caring for the psychological and moral aspect of the elderly and providing part of the family atmosphere they missed. He toured the corridors of the home and the quality of services provided to them. They, in turn, expressed their satisfaction with the nature of the services and treatment they receive from those in charge of the home.
The Dean provided the necessary supplies for the winter season, including blankets, clothes, medicines, and others. At the end of the meeting, those in charge of the house expressed their thanks and gratitude to His Excellency the Minister and the President of the University. These activities are classified within the goals of the environment and sustainability to achieve goal (3) in ensuring that everyone has a healthy life and well-being at all ages.
