Under the supervision of the Dean of the Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Mohammed Thajil Al-Maamouri, the Accounting Studies Department at the Institute, as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week activities, held a scientific seminar entitled “The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Compliance and Financial Reporting within a Strategic Framework.” The seminar took place in the Institute’s hall and was presented by lecturer Dr. Ahmed Hassan Ahmed, Head of the Accounting Studies Department. A number of faculty members and postgraduate students from the Institute participated.
The seminar focused on how to improve production efficiency by reducing human error, accelerating processes, increasing accuracy and consistency in organizational operations, and utilizing a variety of tools, including software, robotics, and artificial intelligence systems.
These activities fall under the Environment and Sustainability Goals (ESG) in achieving Goal (9): to ensure resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization, and support innovation.
