Under the supervision of the Dean of the Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies, chartered accountant Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Mohammed Thajil Al-Maamouri, the Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies held a workshop entitled “Research Ethics in Light of Environmental Changes” as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week activities. The workshop took place in the Institute’s hall and was presented by Professor Dr. Sabiha Barzan Farhoud, a faculty member in the Accounting Studies Department. A number of faculty members and postgraduate students from the Institute participated.
The workshop aimed to identify the challenges facing researchers in the contemporary environment, encompassing all steps of preparing scientific research, from defining the problem and title to testing hypotheses. It also addressed the most important variables, both within and outside the educational institution.
These activities fall under the environmental and sustainability goals, specifically Goal (4), which aims to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
