The Dean of the Post-graduate Institute of Accounting and Financial Studies at the University of Baghdad, the chartared accountant, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Muhammad Thajil Al-Maamouri, participated in the discussion of the research entitled (The impact of applying the International Accounting Standard (IAS40) Investment Real Estate on the quality of accounting profits – an applied study) for the student (Muhammad Fadhel Abbas) at the Middle Technical University – Administrative Technical College – Baghdad, Department of Financial and Accounting Technologies.
The research aims to identify the options of International Accounting Standard (40) Investment Real Estate and its application in Iraq and to identify the methods of measuring the quality of accounting profits as well as to identify the accounting rule (14) and to clarify the aspects of accounting shortcomings compared to International Accounting Standard (40).
