The committee formed in the Department of Accounting Studies, headed by Chartered Accountant Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Mohammed Thajeel Al-Maamouri, Dean of the Post-graduate Institute of Accounting and Financial Studies, and including Professor Dr. Khawla Hussein Hamdan, Professor Dr. Sabiha Barzan Farhoud, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Ibrahim, Assistant Professor Dr. Hakim Hamoud Falih, and Lecturer Dr. Ghazi Maan Faisal, discussed the seminar on the research topics of graduate students in the Department of Accounting Studies, specializing in Chartered Accounting.
The Dean of the Institute explained the importance of striving to select topics that address real-life problems in the public and private sectors, given the distinctive features of the academic output of graduate students’ research at our Institute, which combines the knowledge acquired in the academic field with the professional experience gained during training at the Federal Supreme Audit Office. He also emphasized the importance of publishing these research outputs in journals listed in international databases.
